Swiss Chard Fresh from the Garden


So thankful for backyard gardens.  This is our first harvest of this year's Swiss Chard.  It just feels so fresh and wonderful.

Cut straight from the garden, wash and then trim the stems and add the stems to a hot pan with a bit of olive oil.  When the stems start to soften, add the beautiful leaves and saute to wilt.

Splash in a small amount of balsamic and enjoy this delicious and healthy treat as you make the rest of your dinner.
