Roasted Garbanzo Beans

We're always looking for something quick to snack on throughout the day or when we're prepping dinner.  Here's something good to try without any guilt!

Roasted Garbanzo Beans:

1.  Rinse 2 cans of garbanzo beans (also known as chick peas) under cold water, then blot dry in a clean towel before putting in a medium size bowl.

2.  Drizzle a couple tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil and season with your favorite seasonings.  This time we used:
  • Onion powder,
  • Garlic powder,
  • Kosher salt,
  • Fresh ground pepper, 
  • Oregano

3.  Arrange the beans in a single layer on a foil-lined cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for about 40
minutes.  Enjoy guilt free snacking!
